Terms and Conditions
Minimum Notice
We require a minmum of 2 weeks notice for celebration cake orders. The sooner we receive an order the better as we tend to get booked up well in advance, especially for weekend deliveries/collections! However, please always contact us as we may be able to help if we have availability depending on the complexity of the cake.

A 50% non refundable deposit is required at time of booking in order to secure your chosen date. The outstanding remainder can be paid on the day of delivery/collection.

For Wedding cakes, we require you to arrange a no obligation consultation to go through details of the cake and wedding venue etc..
We also require a 50% non refundable deposit at time of booking in order to secure your chosen date and the outstanding remainder to be paid on 4 weeks prior to your chosen date.
Cancellations
We require 1 week's notice to cancel a celebration cake. Depending on the amount of time or expenses already invested in your cake, any monies paid may not be refunded if we receive a cancellation within the 7 days prior to cake delivery/collection. We may require full payment for the cake, depending on how close it is to delivery/collection date, even if the cake is no longer required.

For Wedding cakes we require 4 weeks notice prior to delivery date. If cancellations are received within the 4 weeks prior, full payment will be required.

We reserve the right to cancel a cake order in exceptional circumstances (due to illness etc..) Any money paid will be refunded but no compensation will be payable in this circumstance.
Delivery/Liability
We will not accept liabilty for loss or damage to goods once delivered in accordance to the agreed delivery instructions. We will always aim to deliver by the agreed date but we cannot always guarantee a time. You will become the owner of said goods once they have been delivered to you and will be held at your own risk, we will not be held responsible for loss, damage or destruction.
All cakes should be stored in a cool, dark place and on a flat stable surface and not in the fridge.
Ownership of the goods will be passed onto you once they have been safely delivered and full payment has been received. All goods supplied are strictly not for resale.
Cake Addiction's total liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the price paid by the customer to Cake Addiction.
We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions from time to time. We therefore suggest that you look through our website from time to time to keep up to date.
